Our each and every individual piece of bone inlay furniture is luxuriously embellished with delicately carved pieces of Mother of Pearl or camel’s bone which is hand-made by traditional artisans in the Jodhpur region of India. Every bone shape is carved by hand, and placed carefully on the frame. These carved pieces are then hand inlaid on sturdy mango wood frame, then the spaces around the mosaic are filled with hand mixed colored resin (organic compound) to get the perfect natural finish. MOP appears iridescent because the thickness of the aragonite platelets is close to the wavelength of visible light. This is the absolute reason for being rare among luxurious furniture.
